Learning and the Brain: a 1-hour tour of how our brains work, why they sometimes betray us, why effective learning can be counterintuitive, and what neuroscience has learned about learning in the past 15 years. These findings are then applied to the practice of musical instruments, and to the processing and learning of any new material.
